Petrophysics & Reservoir Simulation
GeoLibya provides a broad range of petrophysical interpretation services, from quick single well evaluations, to large scale multi-well studies, including the integration of log, core and geological data, and input into geological modelling. GeoLibya also offers well records processing and Well Log digitization and with high level of accuracy correlations. We have a broad range of expertise in handling both digital and hard copy well log data and fully recognize the need for a decisive, verified raw data set as the basis for any further work. Reservoir simulation is at the one of the mainstays of GeoLibya technical services for conventional and unconventional reservoirs. We apply the latest cutting-edge technology and industry standard software together, to build geostatistical models and up-scale them to dynamic models for hydrocarbon and compositional studies, including reservoir simulation when it comes to unconventional or highly fractured and faulted reservoirs.

Field Development Planning
GeoLibya offers a fully integrated reservoir to market field development planning service.
GeoLibya performs integrated reservoir studies that include the evaluation of geophysical, geological, petrophysical data for the construction of static models for dynamic simulation and finally the design of the optimized field development plan.
GeoLibya create a robust way of developing, producing and maintaining hydrocarbon resource up to and including surface design. In designing each plan, careful economic planning and feasibility studies are undertaken to put in place where utilization of resources is optimized and in line with budget constraints.

The concept begins at an integrated subsurface reservoir study that includes the evaluation of geophysical, geological and petrophysical data for the construction of static models for dynamic simulation before maturing into the optimisation of the field development plan where the project moves towards a pre-FEED concept selection stage.
The purpose of this integrated approach to full field development planning is to improve concept selection at the pre-FEED stage by the sharing of data, knowledge and respective expertise. It allows us to incorporate all reservoir uncertainties to bring into consideration the full range of development options.
Integrated Reservoir Modelling
GeoLibya distinctive capability in integrated reservoir modelling is the ability to integrate across as many disciplines as appropriate It is still often true that reservoir studies are treated as linear exercises.
Geophysical interpretation, petrophysical analysis, geological interpretation and modelling, dynamic modelling, production technology and facilities design are carried out sequentially. GeoLibya believes that this approach is fundamentally flawed because it fails to account fully for interactions between the work of the different disciplines. For example:

MDT interpretations can influence both geological and geophysical understanding.
Understanding of facilities design and cost can affect the appropriate reservoir engineering studies e.g. whether the higher cost of horizontal wells will be justified by reducing the required capacity of water handling facilities.
